"I hired Amanda for a consulting project with Region Jönköping läns and Jönköping University called the Talent Attraction Walks with the goal to help international students integrate more quickly into the Swedish job market. Amanda was brought in to help train international students through a lecture on cultural integration and practical job searching skills to prepare students to meet Swedish companies during the day of the Talent Attraction Walks event held in collaboration with Elmia Subcontractor. Additionally, there is also a lecture to support our participating Swedish companies and organizations on how to hire international students with more understanding on how to overcome the challenges that arise during this process. I would highly recommend Amanda for future consultation projects and speaking events with a focus on solving the talent shortage crisis in Sweden."
“Amanda was a tremendous addition to the panel. Ahead of time, she was incredibly organized in understanding the expectations / format and invaluable in helping to co-curate the content of the panel. Then of course, on the day of, Amanda was eloquent and candid. The panel was NOT an easy one and not for novices...we tackled heavy subjects around immigration, diversity, inclusion, equity, inequality...really all the touchy and sticky topics connected to being an outsider in the Swedish workforce. Amanda's experiences and insights were first-rate. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment about inviting her to join the panel.”
